22nd Vienna Biocenter PhD Symposium - Alumni Edition - 5-7 November 2025
This year’s symposium will take place between the 5-7 November 2025 and will be an exclusive Vienna BioCenter Alumni reunion, titled "Bringing it all back Home".
The symposium will be an opportunity to connect the current members and alumni of the Vienna BioCenter through our shared commitment to advancing science. Scientific talks, career workshops and panel discussions will be featuring exclusively Vienna BioCenter Alumni with various backgrounds and career paths. We are looking forward to exciting discussions engaging sessions and networking opportunities among past and present members of the Vienna BioCenter community.
An event for the IMP 40th Anniversary will be held on 5 November, “40 Years of Finding Out”. You can register to this IMP alumni only event here.

Registration: Registration is now open until 6 October 2025 via the Vienna BioCenter alumni platform. Alumni of the Vienna BioCenter are invited to join the platform and attend this exciting reunion symposium.

Organizing Committee
Every year a dedicated team of volunteers from the student body gets together to organize the symposium with the help of the Scientific Training team and other staff at the research institutes on campus.
